How to set up a backup agent (back up)

Cayzu allows you to designate a "Backup agent" in the case that you become unavailable for a period of time and need another co-worker (agent) to automatically take your tickets for a certain period of time.

 

This is helpful, if you will be out of the office and don't want your users or customers waiting for a response while you are away.

 

To set up a backup agent, follow these steps:

 

 

1. Log in to Cayzu Help Desk

 

2. Click your name (top right corner) and choose Settings

 

3. Using the drop down "Backup Agent" select the agent that you'd like your tickets to be routed to.

 

 

4. Once you've made your selection, Click Update at the bottom to save it.

 

5. You're all set! All new tickets will now be routed to your backup agent.

 

 

Note: Remember when you return to the office, to follow the above steps and choose "Not Selected" to stop the automatic routing of tickets to your backup agent.
