Whitelisting IP to restrict access to your support portal

For an added layer of security, you might want to restrict access to your Agent Desktop, Admin, API, Support Portal or Business Insights by IP address (or multiple IP addresses). If you're on the Pro plan or above, you can now manage the IP addresses (and grant access to new ones) through your Admin panel. The IP Whitelist Feature allows you to specify which IP addresses can access what portion of the back end of your site. This adds more security so that people outside of your company can't access sensitive information even if they get one of your Agent's usernames or passwords.

Steps to enable the whitelist IP address:

1. Login to Cayzu help desk portal with an administrative account

2. Click on Admin (left side menu) to access the Admin section

3. Click on Security

4. Check on Enable Trusted IP Address

5. In the IP ranges section, you can enter all the IP address ranges that can login your portal in the n.n.n.n format.

Note:
You can click on the Add new link to add multiple IP address ranges.
