How to create folders and sub folders for my knowledge ( categories )

Cayzu allows you to create folders and subfolders to better organize your knowledge base articles for your end-users.

You as an administrative agent using the agent portal can also set permissions at the subfolder and article level to better segregate your data.

 

To create a folder follow these steps:

 

Step 1. Login to your Cayzu help desk portal with an administrative account  

Step 2. Click on Articles

Step 3. Then from the top right sub menu, click Add Folder 

Step 4. Type in a folder name and description and once complete Click Save.

Step 5.  The folder will now be visible on your end-user folder here

To create a subfolder follow these steps:

Step 1. Login to your Cayzu help desk portal with an administrative account  
Step 2. Click on Articles

Step 3. Then from the top right sub menu, click Add Subfolder 

Step 4. Type in a subfolder name and description, choose which folder to display it under and then choose who can view it (permissions).

Step 5. Once complete, click Save.  The sub folder will now be visible after a user clicks the folder from your end-user portal. See this screenshot
